“The Amouage Essences – three extraordinary expressions of the value of time. Each fragrance is highly concentrated containing 30% pure perfume oils that underwent a meticulous six-month aging process, including a double infusion with sandalwood chips and oak wood barrels, resulting in a deep, layered fragrance experience. […] When it first emerges, Reasons is somewhat unassuming: its hazelnut opening presents a warmth that is comforting but also perhaps surprisingly unostentatious. But within moments, the scent grows, taking on an increasingly grander form. The part-herbaceous, part-fruity personality of davana creates layer upon layer of depth and complexity. Finally, the smoky woodiness of palo santo introduces a grounding, resonant earthiness – rooting the whole in a sense of timeless, harmonious stability. “Citrus Brasilis is a true celebration of the joy and freshness of citrus elements, which have been an essential part of Granado’s history since its beginnings. The fragrance is the creation of Quentin Bisch from Givaudan, inspired by the scent of an orange tree that perfumed the backyard of his home and the aromatic waters of Granado’s early formulations. From its founding, when José Antônio Coxito cultivated a variety of citrus fruits in his orchard, these fruits were transformed into remedies such as orange blossom water, compounded lemon spirit, and bitter orange peel syrup.
