In her own words, BAILEE is a girl from the Midwest, with an interior design degree, but as of this year, she is a full-time fragrance content creator. Every day, she gets to create and discover in a world she is passionate about. Her journey into perfumery began with collecting miniature travel-sized bottles, which evolved into a passion for growing a fragrance collection. I became interested in perfume when I started collecting miniature travel size perfume bottles. Initially, I thought the tiny bottles were adorable but it eventually turned into an entire fragrance collection that I have been growing for the last couple years.

My favorite notes are… Despite the fact that I have a large collection, I can actually be picky when it comes to fragrance notes. I always lean towards any fragrance with vanilla in it. It adds the touch of warmth and sweetness that I want in my scents. A few others I love wearing are cherry, caramel, or tonka bean.

I became a fragrance content creator, and I continue to do so, because I was able to find a community through social media that I never would have found otherwise. Sharing a love for fragrance with people has allowed me to meet people all around the world and learn so much more than I ever could on my own.

A good fragrance is one that makes you feel confident. It doesn’t matter the price, brand, or gender. If it gives you the extra boost of confidence to start the day then it’s perfect for you!

I see the current perfume market as an ever-changing, exciting and adventurous. Nowadays there is a fragrance for everybody that is worldwide available. It’s fascinating!

To me, perfume is your best accessory and the best way to enhance your mood. Whether you’re going to the beach on a sunny day, or out for a nice dinner in the evening, the perfect scent to match the occasion is icing on the cake.

Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf

A lot of women can probably relate to Flowerbomb being the first fragrance they were gifted. It was the first time that I felt like I had something really special as a young adult. I still wear it often and the sweet florals always feel so nostalgic. Not to mention, it still reigns as one of my most complimented scents!

Bal d’Afrique by Byredo

Bal d’Afrique was the first fragrance that I had a really strong scent memory associated with it. I was vacationing in California and thought I’d start collecting scent through my travels. I wore it the entire trip and every time I smell it I am always transported back to the west coast.

Pacific Park by Simone Andreoli 

Pacific Park gave me the first experience of what it’s like to find your “signature scent.” When you smell a fragrance that aligns so perfectly with your taste and feels like a reflection of you as a person. As a gourmand lover, this was everything I wanted in a sweet, feminine, long lasting fragrance.

Milk Bold by Commodity

Commodity Milk is the perfect example of how a fragrance can capture a mood or setting. When I smell this I feel like I’m sitting by a fire holding a warm cup of spiced milk with marshmallows. I think it’s so interesting how something as simple as a scent can create such a detailed picture in your head.

Flora Gorgeous Magnolia by Gucci

Gorgeous Magnolia is a favorite of mine because it always surprises people. I think it’s one of the most underrated perfumes on the market now, and I love when I help someone find something they love unexpectedly.
